Meals during orthodontic treatment

Avoid hard foods (such as rice crackers) and foods that tend to stick to your teeth (such as gum and caramel) as they may damage or deform your orthodontic appliance.
Try to avoid sweet foods as they can easily cause cavities. If you are out or have no time to brush your teeth, use dental rinse to wash away dirt and bacteria that cause cavities and periodontal disease.

Tips to prevent tooth decay during orthodontic treatment

The L8020 bacteria, a good bacterium that reduces the bacteria that cause cavities and periodontal disease, was discovered by Professor Hiroki Futagawa of Hiroshima University. Its effectiveness in preventing and improving cavities and periodontal disease in the human oral cavity has been confirmed by various research institutions. For this reason, products that use this bacterium have been attracting attention in recent years as oral probiotics. By using the mouthwash Lacresh, which contains L8020 bacteria after brushing your teeth before going to bed, you can make your oral cavity less susceptible to cavities and periodontal disease.
