Instrument disinfection and sterilization system
The Tokushinkai Group also pays careful attention to infection control, and has introduced a high-level disinfection and sterilization system, for example by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments used on patients in dedicated rooms for each.
Disinfection and sterilization process
STEP1 Cleaning/disinfection
All equipment used on patients is disinfected using a specially designed cleaning machine.
STEP2 packing
The disinfected instruments are sealed in sterile packs.
STEP3 Sterilized by high temperature and pressure
A high-temperature, high-pressure machine (autoclave) kills all bacteria and renders the instruments sterile.
STEP4 Done
We use sterilized equipment for patients. For cups and other items that cannot be sterilized, we use disposable equipment.
Infection control that is carried out on a daily basis
Cleaning, disinfection, sterilization and replacement of instruments
All equipment used on patients is cleaned, disinfected, sterilized and replaced between each patient.
Change gloves after each patient
We do not reuse gloves that have been used by other patients after cleaning or disinfecting them. They are replaced and disposed of after each treatment.
Disinfect the unit after each patient
Aprons and towels are changed and the unit is disinfected after each patient.
Proper hand hygiene
In our clinic, we always wash our hands hygienically before coming into contact with patients.
Install an extraoral vacuum
We have installed an extra-oral vacuum to suck up dust so that patients do not inhale dust that is scattered during treatment.
Regular professional cleaning
The Tokushinkai Group has a specialized cleaning department called "T Care" that carries out regular cleaning with an emphasis on hygiene.
As a measure against infectious diseases
Initiative 1 A professional cleaning company regularly disinfects and coats the entire facility with a special photocatalyst.
All equipment, including the examination rooms, massage chairs and coffee makers used in the waiting room, are coated with a disinfectant coating.
Initiative 2 Disinfection of waiting rooms and examination rooms
The waiting room is disinfected regularly and the examination room is disinfected after each patient.
Initiative 3 Installation of air purifiers with excellent disinfecting effects
We keep a sufficient number of air purifiers running at all times, depending on the size of the space.
Initiative 4 Regular ventilation
We regularly open windows and doors to ventilate the room.
Initiative 5 social distancing
Seats in the waiting room are spaced apart to ensure proper distancing.
