Fabricating an entire row of teeth
All on 4/All on 6
What are "All-on 4" and "All-on 6"?A full row of teeth in the upper or lower jaw is created and secured with four or six implantsThis is a treatment method that uses a different shape than dentures, but gives you the comfort of natural teeth.
The main advantages of this treatment are:It can dramatically improve your appearance in a short period of time and also allow you to chew properly. If you are hearing about it for the first time, you may imagine it to be a major operation, butSince only a small number of implants are required, costs and physical strain can be significantly reduced. In addition, there is no pain during the surgery, no need to stay in hospital, and fixed temporary teeth are placed on the same day.
This is a recommended treatment for those
- Patients with no or only a few teeth remaining
- Complete denture patients
- Patients with severe periodontal disease (to remove the teeth causing the periodontal disease)
- Patients who do not have enough jaw bone for regular implant treatment
The difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6
All-on-4 is less expensive because fewer implants are required, but it can only be applied to those whose jaw bones are relatively strong. For those whose jaw bones are not strong enough, we recommend All-on-6.
What to do if you have remaining teeth
During surgery, any remaining teeth will be extracted and the implants will be placed at the same time.
Conventional implant treatment
All-on-4 Comparison
Normally, if you lose all your teeth, you would need to place eight implants in one jaw, which would be more expensive. With All-on-4, only four teeth are placed, making the cost less.In addition, not only will fixed temporary teeth be placed on the same day,The total treatment period is also shorter than with conventional implants.
| Normal implants | All-on-4 | |
|---|---|---|
| cost |
With one jaw Total amount approx. 480Ten thousand yen *If bone augmentation surgery is required, an additional fee will be charged. |
With one jaw Total amount approx. 320Ten thousand yen Approximately 120 million yen cheaper than regular implants |
| Duration of treatment |
approx Two-and-a-half years Since a second surgery is required after a period of time has passed since the implant insertion surgery, it takes time to complete. |

All-on-4/All-on-6 treatment flow
STEP.1 Counseling
We will review your medical history, current illnesses, requests, and dental condition.
STEP.2 Inspection
We will check the condition of your jawbone with CT scans and X-rays.
STEP.3 treatment plan
Based on the results of counseling and examinations, we will develop and propose a treatment plan.
STEP.4 Primary surgery
The implants are inserted into each hole. If the gums are cut with a scalpel, they are then sutured together with thread, and finally temporary artificial teeth are attached.
STEP.5 Integration period (3 to 6 months)
After surgery, you will need to wait a period of rest until the implant has bonded with the bone.
STEP.6 Fitting artificial teeth
Once we have confirmed that the implant has been fixed, we attach the connection between the implant and the cap. We then attach the cap and make any final adjustments.
STEP.7 Maintenance
To ensure the implant lasts a long time, regular maintenance is required.
