What is a dental infection?
If you leave inflamed wisdom teeth, inflamed teeth at the root, or teeth with periodontal disease untreated, they can develop serious inflammation, sometimes causing severe swelling of the face or jaw, making it difficult to open your mouth, or making it difficult to eat.
