On September 12, 2026, we held an "Emergency Resuscitation Training Course" at Matsumura Dental Clinic Niitsu Branch, with Professor Naotaka Kishimoto of the Department of Anesthesiology, Niigata University School of Dentistry, as the lecturer.

The Tokushinkai Group holds an annual "Emergency Resuscitation Training Course" to ensure a swift and accurate response in emergency situations involving patients and staff. Participating staff are instructed on the basics of life-saving procedures, such as how to use an AED and chest compressions, while dentists and dental hygienists receive lectures and practical training on more specialized life-saving procedures.

In the training sessions for dentists and dental hygienists, participants deepened their understanding of oxygen tank handling, blood pressure measurement, the correct use of pulse oximeters, and medications to be used in emergencies. Furthermore, simulations were conducted to anticipate emergencies that may occur during treatment, such as post-anesthesia malaise, anaphylaxis, and cardiac arrest. This allowed participants to practically confirm how to assess a patient's condition and how to divide roles to facilitate emergency calls and life-saving treatment.

Through this training, we reaffirmed the importance of noticing even slight changes in patients' physical condition and of staff coordinating and acting calmly and quickly in emergencies.

The Tokushinkai Group will continue to enhance its ability to respond to emergencies through ongoing training and strive to improve its medical system so that patients can receive treatment with peace of mind.
