We held a periodontal and implant seminar at Tokushinkai Quartz Tower over two days, August 26th and 27th, 2026.

Perio-implant is a comprehensive dental treatment that combines periodontal disease treatment with implant treatment, aiming to restore overall oral health and bite function. In this training, we welcomed Dr. Hiroyuki Nara, director of Nakamura Minami Dental Clinic, as our lecturer. In addition to lectures, we learned practical knowledge and techniques through hands-on practice using pig jaws.

In the training for dentists, we learned a wide range of techniques, from the basics of surgical procedures such as incision, flap, and suturing, to procedures for shaping the gums, and a treatment method called GBR (Guided Bone Regeneration) that is necessary for implant treatment and other procedures.

This time, not only dentists but also dental hygienists and dental assistants participated in the training. They learned about explaining and counseling patients, assisting during surgery, and other aspects from the perspective of their respective professions, deepening their understanding of how to work as a team in providing treatment.

Our group will continue to provide high-quality dental care by continuously conducting specialized training in each profession and field.
