Since May 2023, "Radio Itto Juku," hosted by Tokushinkai Group Chairman Matsumura, has been airing on Radio NIKKEI 1. The program follows the theme of "Learning about the way of life from people who have mastered a single path," which has been the theme of the "Itto Juku" that the Tokushinkai Group has been hosting since 1995, and features interviews with people who have been active in various fields.

Our guest for this interview is Mr. Hitoshi Tanaka, Founder, Chairman and CEO of JINS Holdings Co., Ltd., which operates the eyewear brand "JINS".

In this interview, we discussed Chairman Tanaka's journey from his time as a banker to founding JINS, including product development, multi-store expansion, listing on the stock exchange, and overseas expansion—all the challenges he has faced. Furthermore, we touched upon his current focus on the Maebashi International Art Festival, regional revitalization, and his thoughts on nurturing young talent, and he shared his management philosophy of pioneering the future without being bound by conventional thinking.
