On July 31, 2026, the Tokushinkai Study Group (TSG) held a dental hygienist training session at the Tokushinkai Quartz Tower.
The Tokushinkai Study Group is a training course established in 2024 with the aim of further improving the skills of medical staff and increasing patient satisfaction. Led by Dr. Yutaro Kuribayashi, the head of the medical department, the training is open to medical staff from all over Japan who belong to the Tokushinkai Group.
On this day, the group's dental hygienist manager served as the instructor, teaching participants about probing to accurately assess the condition of periodontal tissue, methods for taking intraoral photographs essential for reviewing treatment records and progress, and how to operate intraoral scanners used in digital dental care. Each topic was covered through a combination of lectures and practical exercises, deepening understanding from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
As the shift from "medical treatment" to "medical treatment" progresses, the role of dental hygienists who support overall health through oral maintenance is expanding. Through this type of training, our group strives to develop dental hygienists who can contribute to improving the quality of life of patients and promoting the health of the local community.
