On July 24, 2026, the Tokushinkai Study Group (TSG) held an end-of-natal treatment training session at Kasuga Dental Clinic.
The Tokushinkai Study Group is a training course established in 2024 with the aim of further improving the skills of medical staff and increasing patient satisfaction. Led by Dr. Yutaro Kuribayashi, the head of the medical department, the training is open to medical staff from all over Japan who belong to the Tokushinkai Group.
This time, we invited Dr. Yuki Yoshizawa, director of our group's Kasuga Dental Clinic, and Dr. Daiki Shirayama from the Department of Endodontics at Fukuoka Dental University, who works at the same clinic, to conduct a root canal treatment practical training session for resident dentists and first-year dentists from all over the country.
Root canal treatment is a procedure to save a tooth by cleaning the inside of the infected tooth root. Because the inside of the root has a very complex shape, it is considered a highly difficult treatment requiring advanced skills. Retreatment is not uncommon, and precise examination and treatment are crucial for improving the success rate.
Our group strives to strengthen its system so that we can provide high-quality treatment regardless of the area or the staff's experience level, by providing high-quality training from a young age, ensuring that dentists with solid technical skills can provide treatment under a solid equipment environment.
