On January 27, 2026, the Tokushinkai Study Group (TSG) held an MFT training session at Matsumura Daini Dental Clinic.
Tokushinkai Study Group is a training course launched in 2024 with the aim of further improving the skills of medical staff and increasing patient satisfaction.
This training will be taught by a team of lecturers led by Dr. Kuribayashi Yuutaro, Head of Medical Department, and is open to medical staff from the Tokushinkai Group throughout the country.
Today we held an MFT (Oral Myofunctional Therapy) training session for dental assistants.
MFT is a preventative approach to correcting gaping mouths and misaligned teeth caused by underdeveloped muscles around the mouth by teaching children how to use their mouth muscles correctly and supporting jaw growth. MFT not only improves tooth alignment and bite, but also affects the function of the entire skeleton, muscles, and brain, bringing many benefits to children during their development.
Our group regularly conducts this type of training in various locations to improve the skills and knowledge of our staff, thereby establishing a system that allows us to meet the diverse needs of a wide range of patients, from children to the elderly.
