On September 20th, 2025, Matsumura Dental Niitsu Clinic held an Emergency Resuscitation Training Seminar, with Dr. Hiroshi Tanaka, Deputy Director of the Department of Oral Surgery and Dentistry at Niigata University Medical and Dental Hospital, as the lecturer.
The Tokushinkai Group holds an "Emergency Resuscitation Training Seminar" every year, striving to create a system that enables quick and accurate response in emergencies for patients and staff themselves. Staff who do not directly perform medical procedures, such as receptionists and management staff, are instructed mainly on how to use an AED and the basics of chest compressions, while dentists and dental hygienists receive lectures and practical training on more specialized life-saving procedures.
During the training, I learned once again the importance of speaking to patients to quickly notice any changes in their physical condition, and the importance of responding calmly and quickly while working closely with the team.
Going forward, the Tokushinkai Group will continue to improve the ability of each and every staff member to respond appropriately in emergencies, and provide safe and secure medical services to patients.
