The Tokushinkai Group treats approximately 70 patients annually.
Japan's largest dental group
Tokushinkai Group is one of Japan's largest dental medical groups, treating approximately 1 patients annually, which is equivalent to approximately 0.3% of all patients who visit a dentist in Japan in a year. We operate 70 dental clinics in Niigata, Miyagi, Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka prefectures. You can use a nearby clinic even if you move or go on a business trip.
Furthermore, the Tokushinkai Group has set out six benefits: "Safety and security," "Satisfaction of the patient's self-dignity," "Comfort," "Convenience," "Fairness, openness, and transparency," and "Fair prices." These are the Tokushinkai Group's promises to patients, so that everyone can receive safe, clear dental care that is sensitive to the patient's symptoms and feelings.
Not only technical skills but also medical care
We also focus on developing "human skills"
At the Tokushinkai Group, we strive to develop our staff's human resources and practical skills through various training programs based on key annual themes, such as technical training with invited lecturers, case study meetings, customer service training, dental technician study groups, seminars for working adults, and national perspective training courses.
The Tokushinkai Study Group (TSG), which was launched in 2024 with the aim of further improving the skills of dentists and increasing patient satisfaction, offers training courses in a wide range of fields throughout the year, taught by a team of instructors led by Dr. Yutaro Kuribayashi, head of the dental department.
High technical skills unique to specialists
We have the facilities to support this
We invite specialists who are recognized for their deep knowledge and high technical skills in various fields of dentistry to serve as dentists within our group or as instructors. They not only treat patients who require advanced treatment, but also play an active role in training our staff.
Furthermore, Tokushinkai Group clinics are equipped with operating rooms that enable advanced dental surgery, microscopes that enable precision treatment, and the latest equipment that enables shorter treatment times and reduced treatment costs, making them capable of handling even difficult cases.
In 2015, Tokushinkai Group's flagship "Tokushinkai Quartz Tower" was opened in the heart of Shibuya. This 12-story building houses two dental clinics to meet all of our patients' needs. "Aoyama Quartz Dental Clinic" focuses on insurance-covered medical care, while "Quartz Dental Clinic" specializes in private medical care with utmost consideration for privacy. It was opened with the aim of creating a new form of medical care in the city, combining the high level of equipment, technology and wide-ranging response capabilities of a university hospital with the expertise of a private dental clinic.
Tokushinkai Group's Medical Treatment Flow ~ For first-time patients ~
01. Reservation
Please make a reservation by phone first.
Please make a reservation by telling us your name and symptoms over the phone.
At Tokushinkai Group clinics, we give priority to patients who make reservations.
We accept emergency patients at any time, but please understand that there may be cases where you have to wait due to the presence of patients with reservations.
If it is no longer convenient for you, please let us know in advance.
If you need to change your appointment date and time, please call the clinic to let us know.
If you would like to receive intensive care, please refrain from cancelling your appointment as it will take a long time for each treatment. If you are unsure of your future plans, please let the reception know.
02. Reception
Please bring your health insurance card with you at the beginning of the month.
If there are any changes to your insurance card, please be sure to bring it in by the end of the month in which the change occurred. If you forget your insurance card, you will be responsible for the full amount of treatment costs, but if you bring your insurance card back at a later date, we will refund the amount covered by insurance.
Please fill out the questionnaire,
We will ask you about your oral and physical condition and your treatment needs.
We will ask you about your health condition, lifestyle habits, medications you are taking, and your medical history. Please fill out as much detail as possible about anything that is bothering you about your mouth. During the interview, please also let us know if you would like intensive treatment or private medical treatment. If you would like intensive treatment, we will organize treatments that would normally require two or three visits to the clinic so that they can be done in one visit where possible.
03. Medical Treatment
We recommend the most appropriate treatment for each patient.
Please feel free to consult us about any treatment-related hopes, anxieties, questions, or concerns you may have. We will recommend the most suitable treatment for each patient.
A complete treatment plan will be explained to you before treatment begins.
For each appointment, we will provide you with a detailed explanation of today's treatment schedule and the details of your next treatment.
I recommend a holistic treatment.
Even if you don't notice it, tooth decay or periodontal disease may be progressing. If left untreated, it will only progress, so early detection and treatment are the best methods.
In most cases, treatment is covered by insurance.
If you would like to receive treatment that is not covered by insurance and you would like to pay for it yourself, we will discuss the payment method with you. For treatment that is not covered by insurance, you can pay by credit card.
We will take intraoral photographs.
We will follow up on your progress by taking intraoral photographs before and after surgery. (We will only take photographs after obtaining your consent if they are necessary for your medical treatment.)
We disclose medical records.
To ensure that you can receive treatment with peace of mind, we have implemented electronic medical records at all of our clinics. In order to eliminate any unclear points, we disclose your medical records after each treatment and confirm and explain the contents of the treatment on that day.
Stay comfortable during your treatment.
TV and DVD players are available at each treatment room.
04.Payment
Payment for insurance treatment is by cash only
The initial consultation cost for insured treatment (treatment covered by insurance) is approximately 3 yen, with 3,000% of the cost covered by health insurance.
Payment for private medical treatment can be made in cash or by
Credit cards and dental loans accepted
Dental loans are a system in which Orico Product Finance pays dental treatment fees on behalf of patients, and patients pay in installments to Orico Product Finance. Fixed interest rates are more affordable than credit card payments, and patients can choose to pay in installments up to 84 times.
