Community activities
daily cleaning
As a medical institution, we not only clean the facility, but also maintain the surrounding landscaping and clean up the area around the clinic, aiming to create a comfortable environment for local residents.
Matching Donations
When large-scale natural disasters or conflicts occur in Japan or overseas, the Tokushinkai Group conducts a fundraising campaign called matching donations. Matching donations are a method in which each clinic adds 10 times the amount of donations collected at the clinic counter and donates it. We would appreciate your continued support and cooperation with matching donations in the future.
Illumination
At the Tokushinkai Group, all clinics light up with illuminations during the Christmas season. We set them up every year with the hope that our patients and their families will have a happy Christmas, as well as to express our gratitude to the local community and spread a circle of energy and warm hearts.
carp streamer
Every year, carp streamers are flown at dental clinics across the country in hopes of the healthy growth of local children.
greening
We are engaged in local greening activities not only to improve the scenery but also to alleviate environmental problems such as air pollution and the heat island effect.
International Exchange and Cooperation
Activities in China
In 1996, at the request of Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China, the Xiamen Tokushinkai Dental Center was opened as a joint Japanese-Chinese venture. Even after its establishment, Chairman Matsumura himself continued to visit the local area to educate local staff and make a significant contribution to the growth of dental care in China. After that, 10 clinics were established throughout China, including in Shanghai, Suzhou, and Wuxi, with 100% Japanese capital and support, and the center has grown to the point where it has been recognized as the best medical institution by the city of Shanghai for seven consecutive years. However, after the success of the business, the husband and wife general managers who had been in charge of the center began to privatize the center, and it became an organization with no management philosophy, so they were removed from the group.
Activities in Myanmar
The Tokushinkai Group also has a dental laboratory in Myanmar, and has donated equipment to the University of Dentistry, Yangon and the Myanmar National Defense Medical University with the aim of further improving dental medical technology in Myanmar and making an international contribution to education.
In 2020, at the 40th Myanmar Dental Conference held in Myanmar, Tokushinkai Group Representative Matsumura Hiroshi became the first Japanese person to receive the title of Honorary Member of the Myanmar Dental Association (MDA) from the Myanmar Ministry of Health and Sports.
