MESSAGE Message to patients
Yutaro Kuribayashi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tokushinkai Medical Corporation
For each person
We provide supportive prevention and treatment
We are pleased to announce that Esaka Dai-ni Dental Clinic will be renamed "Esaka Dental Clinic" and will reopen in a new location on June 2023, 6.
The Tokushinkai Group established Esaka Dental Clinic right next to Esaka Station in 1994, and with the large number of patients who visited, Esaka Daini Dental Clinic was established in 1999. More than 20 years have passed since then, and we have now relocated and reopened in order to provide better new dental treatment and the latest equipment for our patients.
In the future, we will place particular emphasis on preventive dentistry.
I am originally from Kyushu, and my family has been running a dental clinic since my great-grandfather's generation.
Since I was a child, I watched my father (a dentist) work hard every day, and seeing how grateful his patients were made me want to become a dentist myself.
After successfully graduating from university and obtaining my dental license, I started working with my father and realized how many patients were suffering from dentures and periodontal disease.
After that, I had the opportunity to undergo training at a university hospital and a clinic that focuses on preventive dentistry, where I realized the importance of avoiding problems in the oral cavity such as cavities, periodontal disease, and malocclusion, and I began to feel a strong desire to help in this regard.
With this in mind, I researched in various fields to further improve my knowledge and skills, and discovered that Sweden is the country in the world with the healthiest oral cavity in its citizens, so I decided to participate in a short-term study abroad program at Malmö University. During my training at Malmö University, I saw many people in their 80s and 90s living long and healthy lives with almost no loss of teeth, and there were many dentists and dental hygienists who were working with enthusiasm after seeing this. I was able to see and feel the gratitude not only from the patients themselves, but also from their families.
My ideal dental clinic is one that is not only trusted by patients, but also by staff who can be trusted, and where all clinic staff work with a sense of fulfillment and pride.
In addition, rather than treating cavities, periodontal disease, or malocclusion, we believe that maintaining a healthy oral environment that does not cause disease in the first place can help improve the health of people in the local community.
We will work together with you to practice proactive preventive dentistry and create a clinic that will be loved by the local community for a long time to come.
The treatments we provide for our patients
At our clinic, we tell such patients the following: "Having many teeth remaining not only improves appearance, but also allows you to live a long and healthy life." "This has been proven in Sweden, and it reduces the number of bedridden patients." "The job of a dental clinic is to support people to live long and healthy lives." Physical deterioration due to poor oral function and an unbalanced diet is called "oral frailty," and leads to a debilitating state. Only patients themselves can protect their own oral cavity, so it is necessary to practice and thoroughly practice correct self-care.
It is important for patients to be aware
At our clinic, we explain the importance of preventive dentistry and strive to provide prevention and treatment tailored to each individual, from children to the elderly.
FEATURES Features of Esaka Dental Clinic
Protecting your teeth for the future through prevention
Dental treatment
Teeth have a "lifespan." With each treatment, the lifespan of a tooth shortens, and although it varies from person to person, after 1-2 treatments, the tooth will reach the end of its lifespan. To prevent this from happening, Esaka Dental Clinic offers a wide range of treatments, including preventive dentistry and various private treatments. In all treatments, we propose appropriate treatments with the first priority on "taking care of your teeth."
For children and adults
For orthodontics
We can help you with anything
We offer a wide range of orthodontic treatments, from preventive orthodontics for children using mouth guards to wire orthodontics for adults.
Preventive orthodontics for children: Myobrace system
The Myobrace System is an early preventative orthodontic treatment for children between the ages of 15 and XNUMX. Unlike adult orthodontics, it aims to align teeth naturally without extractions or brackets. By wearing a removable mouthpiece while sleeping, children are taught to breathe through their nose, to place their tongue correctly on the upper palate, and to swallow properly, allowing the jaw to fully develop to its natural size. As a result, there is enough space for all the teeth to fit in, and the teeth grow naturally straight.
Effects of Myobrace treatment
- Correcting bad oral habits
- Improve jaw development and position
- Improve your teeth alignment
- Promotes optimal development of the facial bone structure
- Improved health
- Promotes healthy eating habits
You will develop the following habits:
- Nose breathing
- Correct tongue position at rest
- The correct way to swallow
- Lips closed
Invisalign: Comfortable and discreet
Invisalign is an orthodontic system that gradually straightens your teeth by wearing a mouthpiece-type orthodontic device for a certain amount of time every day and replacing the device every two weeks. The biggest advantage is that it is removable. It can be removed as needed for meals, brushing your teeth, etc., so you don't have to sacrifice much of your daily life. Developed by Align Technology, Inc. in the United States, Invisalign is the mouthpiece orthodontic system with the largest market share in the world due to the ease of use of the device and the high precision of treatment.
With the introduction of the 3D digital scanner "iTero",
Treatment is "fast, accurate, and comfortable"
With the introduction of the latest 3D digital scanner "iTero," it is now possible to create highly accurate mouthpieces that are made entirely digitally. In addition to improving technical precision, the elimination of the need to fill the mouth with impression material to take a mold as in the past not only speeds up the process but also makes it easier for people with strong gag reflexes who have difficulty with molds. In addition, because dental impressions are handled as digital data, there is no time required for physical transportation, and the time it takes for the mouthpiece to be delivered has been shortened. Another major benefit is that it is now possible to simulate the oral cavity after orthodontic treatment during pre-consultation.
Conducted in a fully equipped environment
Precision Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is said to be highly difficult, and the success rate in Japan is said to be lower than in other countries. The important thing about root canal treatment is simple and clear: the treatment must be performed with sufficient equipment and the dentist's technical skills. At our clinic, we have a fully equipped environment and are able to provide treatment by dentists with a wealth of experience.
Five points of our precision root canal treatment
More accurate diagnosis using CT
Because root canals are complexly curved, in order to prevent retreatment, it is necessary to accurately grasp their shape and remove every bit of the contaminated pulp. At our clinic, we have introduced CT to examine the shape of the root canal and the surrounding tissue in more detail. CT scans allow us to discover the existence of root canals that have been overlooked at other clinics and accurately grasp the condition of lesions at the end of the root.
Use rubber dam to reduce risk of recurrence
A rubber dam is a device that covers the parts of the mouth other than the teeth to be treated with a thin rubber membrane to prevent bacteria in saliva from getting into the teeth to be treated. By using a rubber dam, the risk of recurrence can be significantly reduced.
Using a microscope, the condition of the root canal can be accurately grasped during treatment
As mentioned above, the root canal is curved in a complex way, so it is difficult to accurately grasp the condition with the naked eye during treatment. Therefore, at our clinic, we use a microscope that can magnify the view up to 20 times that of the naked eye. This allows us to accurately remove contaminated areas.
Nickel-titanium files are used to thoroughly remove the contaminated pulp
In root canal treatment, contaminated pulp is removed using a needle-shaped instrument called a "file." Compared to the stainless steel files commonly used in Japan, nickel-titanium files are flexible and can penetrate deep into the complex shaped root canals.
MTA cement is used to firmly seal the root canal after nerve removal
Root canal treatment involves a process called "root canal filling," in which the cavity left after the nerve is removed is disinfected and sealed. Precision root canal treatment can use a superior material (filling agent) called MTA cement, which has stronger sealing properties and antibacterial effects than those used in insurance treatment.

Founded 45 years ago with "team medical care" About the Tokushinkai Medical Corporation Group
The Tokushinkai Group began in 1981 in the former Niitsu City, Niigata Prefecture (now Akiha Ward, Niigata City), a small rural town with a population of about 6.
We started out as a typical small dental clinic with three treatment units and six staff members, but since our founding we have always strived to provide patient-centered dental care.
Furthermore, ever since our founding, we have had doubts about the outdated dental industry, and with the aim of "creating the world's best dental group," we have sought to break away from an industry dependent on the state and instead build an organization that contributes to the nation.
As of September 45, 2025 years after our founding, we have grown into an organization with 10 locations around the world, employing over 102 staff members representing 10 nationalities.
Within Japan, we are one of the largest dental medical groups, treating approximately 0.3 patients per year, which is equivalent to approximately 70% of the total number of dental patients in the nation.
Additionally, in the field of dental technology, we have manufacturing bases and design centers in Japan, the United States (LA, Dallas), Myanmar, and Thailand (Bangkok), and are involved in the manufacture of dental prostheses for countries all over the world.
The Tokushinkai Group will continue to develop people and organizations that will help bring back confidence and vitality to Japan through the field of dentistry.
