The Tokushinkai Group was founded in 1981 in a small rural town called Niitsu City (now Niigata City) in Niigata Prefecture. We started as an ordinary dental clinic with three dental units and six staff members, and since then, we have continued to pursue the ideal form of patient-centered dental care. We have also reformed the outdated dental world, sought to operate as an independent organization with less reliance on the state, and built an organization with the awareness that "the world is our stage."
The Tokushinkai Group will continue to develop people and organizations that will help bring back confidence and vitality to Japan through the field of dentistry by creating the world's best dental group.
The clinic where Tokushinkai was founded in 1981: Matsumura Dental Clinic in Niitsu City, Niigata Prefecture (now Niigata City).
In 2013, Chairman Matsumura was awarded as the representative of Japan for World Entrepreneur of the Year (an international competition that recognizes world-class entrepreneurs).

*This was drafted when Matsumura Dental Clinic was expanded and remodeled in 1989. It is a code of conduct that concretely outlines what all staff should think and do for patients. The goal of creating the world's best dental group, which was President Matsumura's vision at the time, has remained true to this day as all staff work together to achieve this goal.

*Matsumura Dental Clinic opened in April 1981.
Six months later, in September, Chairman Matsumura, who was 9 years old at the time,
"What do I strive for every day?"
"What kind of organization are you trying to create?"
The meaning of these questions was clarified, and the motto was drafted with the desire to "be like this" and "have to be like this." From the day after it was written until today, all staff members have recited it together every morning, and it has permeated the entire Tokushinkai Group as the foundation of the group.
